as Sheriff Jake Kessing that year and also in the movie The Brass Legend,
Colonel Ira Hansen in the movie The Rack. 1957: he played Doctor Karlton
in the movie I Was a Teenage Frankenstein, also Major Lambert in the movie
The Spirit of St. Louis and Tenvoorde in the movie The Tall T. In 1958
he played Comdr. Tydings in the movie Mardi Gras and in 1959; The Story
on Page One, A Private's Affair, Compulsion as Mr. Straus, Rymdinvasion
in Lappland as Dr. Frederick Wilson and in The 30 Foot Bride of Candy
Rock. 1960; Maj. Gen. Roy Geiger in the movie The Gallant Hours and he
also played that year Colonel Dowling in the movie Wake Me When It's Over.
1961; The Young Savages that year. In 1962 we saw him in seven movies:
The Slime People as Professor Galvin, he had a part in Mooncussers, Jumbo
as Madison, he was in the series "Texas John Slaughter", he
played a director in the series "Sweet Bird of Youth", Birdman
of Alcatraz as Senator Lewis and The Manchurian Candidate as Convention
Chairman. 1972; in the movie A Reason to Live, a Reason to Die and 1975
as Chad Foster in Trilogy of Terror. In 1977; Dale Anderson in Stonestreet:
Who Killed the Centerfold Model? and that same year he also joined the
cast of the series "Lovers and Friends/For Richer, For Poorer"
