I listen to the radio version of Gunsmoke. It is on National Public radios 88.5FM Sundays at 8 PM. I love the late William Conrad. He had a magnificent voice. I believe he was a great actor. And I have learned from your web page that he produced and directed radio and television shows. His second wife Tippy was a weather reporter on a local television channel here in the Washington, DC area in the early 1970s. Do you have the address of the surviving members of the radio show? Especially the guy who was the bad guy so often, John Denner. Later he played the lead roll in the radio shows "Country Gentleman", and "Have Gun Will Travel". He played the boss on the TV series "The Doris Day show". I last saw him in the movie "Jagged Edge" with Glenn Close. He played a Judge in his seventies. I look forward to writing you often with your thoughts on Gunsmoke. I never liked the television show much. And rarely watch reruns of it now. I find the radio show far more colorful and entertaining. I love Howard Mechnear, and William Conrad, and Parley Bear, and Georgia Ellis. I hope I spelled those names correctly. Sincerely, Robert Mechner
